DAC outputs

Is it worth it to try to even try to use the DAC outputs on the EVOPrimer?  They are being used for the SPI to control the MEMS.  It would be nice to still keep the MEMS functionality, but unless a separate sample and hold is added, I don't think it would work.

Could future EVOPrimers have the DAC available?  Perhaps multiplex the an SPI Port or use the SPI3?

Re: DAC outputs

It is difficult to optimize the pin assignment in order to get the maximum of peripherals.
We could do it on the STM32L target board, where a DAC is available on PA4 (extension pin 10 CANL), and also on the future STM32F2xx/STM32F4xx target board (extension pin 11 ADC1).

Re: DAC outputs

Thanks.

I suppose I could replace the STM32F103 with the STMF2.  I have an I2C ADC/DAC chip that I will use until then.

Cheers,
