STM CircleOS forum / ride7 loosing communication with target

I recently upgraded both my primer2 and my ride 7 to circleos4.10 by copying over the elf file. I am now getting an error every time I try to debug my app. "OPI Driver' Lost communication with target. Terminating debug session". I thought it might be my app so I downloaded the cubic-2.2 tutorial and attempted to debug this app.
It fails with the same error. the primer two and circle os is fully functinal and I can select my app (or the tutorial app to run) but I have lost my debug session. Any help would be appreciated.

If it helps any one else, reverting back to circle os 3.x solves the issue.

What is the version of your Ride environment (Ride7 and KitARM) ?
Do you get the error when you launch the debug session, or after the run command, or when you try to set a breakpoint ?

ride7 is 7.15.0000
rkit-arm is 1.14.0811

I get the error when I launch the debug session.

Hi Sincables,

You are working with very old versions of development kit !
I suggest you to replace it with the last one, available here : http://www.stm32circle.com/resources/do … 100909.zip

I update the Ride7 and Rkit-ARM to the one you suggested in this post, and then i rebuild the project which turned out to be right in old version, but errors happens.
such as

'C:\Program Files\Raisonance\Ride\Lib\ARM\include/stm32f10x_lib.h:2:2: error: #error STM32 library version conflict detected! '
' error: 'ptrCircle_API' undeclared (first use in this function) '
' error: 'u16' undeclared (first use in this function) '

It seems this version is not compatible with old version, or somewhere should i make some change? (this version can still build OS)

another thing is why no notification comes when i get reply, before i will got email when a reply came to me.

Which project did you rebuild ? It seems that it is a project created with old ST library (version < 3). In this case, verify that the parameter "LD Linker/LIbraries/Use OLD Precompiled Library" is set to "yes".
