Braille Notebook 1.0

It is known that visually impaired persons use the Braille to read and write. But in developing countries like mine, the Braille paper is expensive and is not easily accessible, especially for students. Therefore, I intend to use the touch screen and audio capability of the EvoPrimer to emulate the Braille so that visually impaired persons can read, write and save written documents indefinitely. It would also allow users to read books with their own pace unlike audio books. The idea is to use the touch screen as a braille paper and a stylus as a needle. As the user writes letters on the touch screen a voice spells out the letters as a feedback. The user then can save or erase the written words. Saved notes can then be read (voiced out) as a user moves her or his hand along the touch screen. |
